Danforth in the Community's partnership with North West Harvest
Last year Danforth in the Community participated in the annual Northwest Harvest Food Drive. We brought donation boxes to all of our locations. We'd like to thank all of you who participated in our 2011 Northwest Harvest Food Drive. The beginning of December our NW Harvest Donation Box was half empty at the Coldwell Banker Danforth Real Estate location in Federal Way but by December 22nd we'd filled several boxes with non-perishable food donations.
Items that were donated include: diapers, baby food, rice, oatmeal, soup. Coldwell Banker Danforth Brokers and vendors helped as we all looked through our cupboards, and found special treats to share with our friends in need.
Here are the results of the Danforth in the Community Food Drive Final count for the 2011 Holiday Food Drive Northgate - 378 lbs Burien - 294 lbs Federal Way - 208 lbs Total collected - 880 lbs
